Who are we?

Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) is a student-led community backed by Google Developers aimed at empowering undergraduate students from all disciplines to grow their knowledge in technology, build solutions for their local communities, and connect with other members from the Google community.

Creating impact and empowering students through technology

Whether you are new to software development or you’ve been developing for quite a while, GDSC is a place where you can learn new technologies, make your ideas a reality, and collaborate to solve real-world problems. In addition to solving problems, GDSC will allow you to connect with other technology enthusiasts from other GDSC chapters and the Google Developer Community. We will be hosting events and activities for all students throughout the academic year. We hope to see you there!

We encourage you to attend any GDSC event that you’re interested in, but you are not obligated to attend all of our events to maintain membership in our group–your commitment level is up to you! We try our best to schedule our events and initiatives around major assignments and tests that students in the tech community may have so you can come out to as many events as possible!

A: The best way to get involved in leadership opportunities at GDSC UTM is to apply to be an executive or associate on our team! Executive position applications open towards the end of each academic year for the following year with positions available in marketing, tech, outreach, and finance! Executives take the lead in planning and managing initiatives and are supported by a team of associates. Associate applications usually open around September-October during the academic year. You can stay up-to-date on when applications open by following our Instagram and checking the announcements on our Discord!
